Is this mold in my end-grain board?

Noticed this piece in my inventory looks spotty. Concerned it may be mold. If it is, is there any way to mitigate this or is the board a goner?

Final Fantasy themed Oak Coasters

Just wanted to share the oak coasters I've recently made for my wife for our wedding anniversary. We're both fans of Final Fantasy games, I wanted to have iconic characters that appear across games. I used a hand router to engrave the silhouettes and painted black the contours. I originally only used oil but then one hot coffee mug left a ring mark, so back to sanding, oiling and added varnish to protect from the heat, so lesson learned!

Maple box to hold paint brushes.

Made from a single piece of maple I had stashed away. Pretty simple box but the figuring turned out nice in the light I think!

How to gently remove vintage furniture legs?

Hopefully without much damage so they can be reattached later. The legs can be wiggled slightly. Thanks!

What Sapele x Maple combo should I go with? Design help

What grain combo of Sapele and Maple should I use? It is for a longhorn I am sculpting, and am so torn. I have attached some general renderings for reference.

Some combinations I'm considering-

Plain sawn Sapele body with figured maple spots (picture 3) Quarter sawn Sapele body with curly maple spots (picture 4) Some additional considerations if you're curious:

What maple pattern to make the horns? Figured or curly If quartersawn, vertical or horizontal ribbons along the body?

Elevated Boxed Wine holder for my fellow budget-friendly wine-drinkers with a taste for the fancy.

This was a fun weekend project and just putting it out there for the community eyes and feedback. Tell me if you are a boxed wine consumer and think this is cool! You can find these all over the internet, and seem absurdly priced (some greater than 130), but I like the look more than a raw Bota Box on the counter, personally. Materials cost here was maybe 15 (granted I used a bunch of scrap pieces and leftover veneer) and 10 or so hours of "labor" which as a hobbyist, as we all know, was just a lot of fun! Cheers!
