I built a corner cabinet. The face and doors are cherry, the shelves and backboards are poplar. The backboards were painted with plum milk paint and then finished with boiled linseed oil. The shelves were finished with boiled linseed oil. The face and doors were finished with shellac

Tried Small batch production of 3d butterfly mapple/walnut cutting boards. Some lessons learned, and some questions to ask :)
it's more boring, then making one-of-a-kind board )) *more chances to lose attention and make a mistake *on the last photo, you can see the comparison: maple to the left, and beech to the right. Generally, the colour is similar. Which one looks better to you? *why my maple is so dark? Is it normal?
