Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share a recent project I’ve completed. I know it’s not traditional fine woodworking but it’s made from wood so thought it would count.
We’re expecting our 2nd child which means my 2 year old son needs to move out of the nursery room. I thought I’d make him a bed that’s modelled off a Land Rover Defender.
Hope you all like it.
Brand new surface planer doesn’t compare to the ol’ Pratt & Whitney
Need help with color theory
I’m working on my first ever woodworking project and it’s been a great learning adventure but I’m now at the final step, and I don’t know if I like the total outcome
I really like the top of the desk but the inners section of the desk looks not so good in my opinion, I only layered in shellac because I figured I would have wanted the wood to shine through but now I’m feeling I need to roll back and buy wood stains on the inner parts of my desk. The real question is what stain should I use? I considered gunstock but it’s too dark and not sure if just painting would be easier
TL;DR should I stain the inner section of my desk
